Not easy being Thom

There's something of a debate going on at the Jazzcorner Speakeasy about the merits - or lack of - of the reviews of the allmusic.com critic Thom Jurek. He reviews a lot of jazz with some rhetorical flare. Also, everything seems to get 4.5 stars. He doesn't bother me, but he's burrowed under the skin of some - check out this essay.
